The event will also award the most innovative game designers of 2016 in the Indie Prize Showcase. 1000 people applied for these awards, but only 120 have been selected for the final. These 120 people get to participate in the event and network with industry leaders. The winners get attractive cash prizes and scholarships. Established developers will also be able display their products at the event’s Premium Dev Showcase.
Casual Games Association Managing Director Jessica Tams said that attendees at the Berlin event could expect to have a wonderful time and get the maximum benefit from its busy schedule. She also said that the event was always successful at discovering local talent.
